Beeswax, poplar, mirror, glass
The structure references a man-made bee hive in its sensibilities and proportions. The stacked lattices also make reference to combs. The interior has a mirrored surface dusted with bee collected pollen, then covered with glass. The effect is one of a subtle illumination of reflected 'pollenized' light. There is also a sensation of scent through the encaustic beeswax coated lattice.
